The Legislative Campaign works on passing effective climate change legislation and thwarting bad bills. We accomplish these goals by reaching out to our state representatives and senators with talking points on why they should support/oppose specific bills and we send emails or testify on legislation when we can. This campaign also works on regulations that result from legislation passed the previous session.

Our long term goals will be to raise Climate Reality’s profile in our communities, build up leadership in particular campaigns, improve committee participation in regulatory proceedings, and become more active in federal climate legislation.
